Support children and young people with additional needs, their families and carers.
Provide access to outdoor activities for children and young people with additional needs, also children living with difficult life circumstances, such as young carers or those who have lost a parent or sibling.
Provide respite accommodation.
Our vision is:
That children and young people with additional needs or living with difficult life circumstances have the opportunity to enjoy and benefit from outdoor activity breaks.
The foundation was set up following the death of Thomas Samuel Theyer in 2013 and his mum; dad and sister think the quote below says much about Thomas and the ethos of the Thomas Theyer Foundation.
The true essence of humankind is kindness. There are other qualities which come from education or knowledge, but it is essential, if one wishes to be a genuine human being and impart satisfying meaning to one's existence, to have a good heart.

The foundation became a registered charity in June 2015 and is currently raising funds to build two lodges at White Hall Education Centre in the heart of the beautiful Peak District of Derbyshire. See our projects page.
