Thomas was a wonderful son and we have been left with a huge whole in our lives which is impossible to fill.   Remembering Thomas and creating a legacy in his name, which will help other young people, is our aim.  I have run my own building company since my early 20s and have been able to use this experience when looking at the site at White Hall and the cottage renovation project.  When we took on the shop at London Road I put together all the fixtures and fittings including the counter – all to my wife’s exacting requirements!  As a family we have been supported by many people and I would like to thank a few who helped by providing skills, time and materials when we kitted out the shop, including Mark Dale from Britannia Woodworking, who helped when we needed to replace the front windows.  Pete Glyn and Simon Goodwin who took on the plastering of the shop walls, Nick Rowley who donated wood for the office shelves and desks.  Jason Tatton, from Buxton Athletics Club, who donated days to lay the flooring, which Buxton Woodworking helped us to source.
