I have known Alan and Chris for a number of years and was saddened to hear of the premature death of Thomas. My two sons attended St Thomas More’s  school and remembered Thomas from there.  I also remember Thomas as a small boy and saw him run in the last Carnival Race he completed just 6 days before he died.  

I am a qualified accountant and have had finance roles in the private, public and charity sectors. I retired from work in 2016, prior to which I had been the Finance Director of a large regional charity based in Manchester for 10 years.  When Chris and Alan approached to ask for my help in the early set up of the charity I was both honoured and pleased, and able to put my charity and finance experience to good use for the charity.  I am the charity’s designated advisor to the Charity Commission, and I work closely with Chris and the Trustees to ensure that the foundation is compliant with all relevant legislation and the Charity Commissions requirements.  I am also a volunteer committee member.
